Athens - National Archaeological Museum

The "gang" slept while I wandered over to the biggest museum in Greece. I didn't spend enough time to see everything but I caught the highlights.

I really liked the bronze sculptures. Most were found in a shipwreck.

This Zeus supposedly held a lightning bolt made from something like wood.

The "Mask of Agamemnon" a gold funeral mask worn over the face in the sarcophagus of a Mycenean ruler or wealthy individual.

The jockey. It is life size.

 Other cool ones

Aphrodite

The building was huge from the outside. It was built in 1866.

It was actually kind of nice to go myself, even though I rushed through it.
