Athens Day 1

We got off the ship at about 8:15 this morning. We packed most of our stuff last night so it was quicker. We hopped on a bus which brought us to our hotel and they allowed us to drop our stuff so we didn't have to lug it around. We went to the Acropolis Museum to look around.

This is how Scarlett feels about museums.

We had Gyros and Greek Salad for lunch. It was the best Greek Salad I have ever had. The tomatoes were so juicy and tasted like tomatoes should and the cucumbers tasted like they were from the garden.

Went came back to the hotel and Jason Pieter and I fell asleep for about 2 hours. We went back out to explore.

Archaeological Site of the Olympieion/ The Temple of Olympian Zeus

Parliament Building
Grave of the Unknown Soldier

The Pan Antheniac Stadium (Olympic Stadium)

There are kitties everywhere.

We had a really good supper at a Greek Restaurant that was on a windy steep street. It was hard to get photos. It got dark and there were twinkly lights and candles. It was very cool, like out of a movie.
